I really enjoyed this! I particularly appreciated the discussion about not falling into a different box just because of leaving a box. I often see this in my fiends and acquaintances. They may no longer feel comfortable on the left, but they feel like they can't leave because they don't like the right. I say be *yourself*! Don't leave a dogmatic group to join another. Anyway, it's a freer, more interesting life to not have all your positions and opinions line up on these artificially created lines.
Thank you Tzvi! I'm glad you appreciated that point, it's such an important one. There's so much pressure today to take a "side" and define yourself by your group affiliation. It makes it hard for people to take the more undefined, uncertain path of simply being an individual.
But like you said, for those who are willing to tolerate the discomfort of rejecting those limiting identities and defining yourself, true freedom awaits.
What a great conversation ❤️ love all three of you. Haha even though after listening I feel like the praise might be as harmful as the negative comments 😅 ( which I agree with☺️). I relate to so much of what you guys talk about ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you SO much Erin! Your praise is still welcome 😬 It's good to know you relate to our conversation! Starting a publication called "The Black Sheep" tells you everything you need to know about how lonely the independent thinker life can be haha.
