New subscriber and ....boom!

This is wonderful! It certain snapped me out of the dreadful delirium and incessant mind feed allowed only by myself...no one’s fault but my own. Now this article ...you have helped snap me out of it. A beautiful and very important reminder. It’s like coming home .... the finger pointing to the moon. Thank you!

Thank you so much for such kind words! This is certainly a home for anyone with a love (possibly bordering on obsessive!) of ideas and introspection.

The mind can be like a wild horse; here’s to taming it just enough to enjoy its power without breaking it down or being dragged away.

Thanks for joining!

I think being a mean and tough individual was the result of my experience with groupthink when very young. I dislike it pretty much to this day. I escaped into the hard rock and heavy metal scene with much joy as a teenager. Never liked the group mentality much. But the irony of it all is I like being a team player. Go figure. lol

I know what you mean! There’s certainly a healthy middle ground we each have to find between the individual and the group. Thanks for sharing!

This is an incredible post. You managed to articulate far better than I ever could what EXACTLY I've been thinking recently. A paean to individuality in an age that demands groupthink from you constantly. Herd poision stay FAR away. Beautiful work.

Thank you for such kind words, I'm glad to hear this edition resonates with you!

I've been Online for quite a while now and feel we're watching the development of some strange and pervasive versions of groupthink. As odd as it might sound, individuality is almost slipping "out of fashion." Yet, the unappreciated is remembered once its absence becomes too painful. Thanks for being here!

I hope the unappreciated is ever remembered at all. For now we can only watch and resist as the Online moulds people into "Homo Snapchatticus", nonexistent as an individual outside one group or another.

Hahah I like that scientific classification and completely agree. The main worry for me is, as it with any lesson learned, how hard will the hard way have to be? We'll see.

This is my first email Spiritual Soap!!! I think It just rekindled my interest in psychology that I lost after taking the intro course in my university. Thankyou so much for sharing. I really really enjoyed this edition. Really love the graphics, they’re so apt! I giggled at most of them. Your writing is so concise, I can’t help but notice the brilliant usage of words which convey the meaning in the most perfect way.
