I should unfriend you for sounding like an adult. Wait, I never friended you in the first place because I never cared about that Twitt... I mean "X" and Faceboo... I mean "Meta" stuff in the first place. Carry on I guess.

The "You're either with me or against me" thing was already weird in high school...I can't believe we're still doing that 😐

Exactly how I feel. But our primitive instincts run deep!

I enjoyed this well written article. It makes me reflect on my own tactics of « unfriending » people that think differently. Thank you for enlightening me.

I will link to people I do not agree with. The question is not if I like their approach or agree with them, but if I find their analysis thoughtful and interesting. If it appears to me that they are living in a different mental reality, fail the bozo test, or are primarily playing status / attention games, I will not pay attention.

I just unfollow (but stay Facebook friends) with friends who are losing their shit over politics. Then I’ll check in from time to time to see if they’ve calmed down.

Haha that's a good strategy. It feels like people losing it is a recurring cycle that you can just wait out and return when once people settle down.
